A Night To Remember
Laura and Patrick Kinkade were honored on April 6, 2019 for their support of Texas Center for Arts + Academics. The organization has three conservatories and two public charter schools for the arts. Their three sons attended one of the schools, Fort Worth Academy of Fine Arts.
The Kinkades believe in arts education and have been happy to support TXCAA personally and through the Thomas Kinkade Gallery in Sundance Square for more than a decade. They believe in the immense value this organization brings to the community and to the individual students who attend. Thomas Kinkade was also happy to support the organization through collector events he held in Fort Worth and most recently, Zachary Kinkade contributed to his alma mater by donating work he completed at a studio painting class the gallery hosted with Sundance Square.
Art is important in expression and young minds that are exposed to the dance, theater, music or visual arts grow up to be creative, compassionate, and well-rounded individuals. The organization not only trains future artists but also helps to develop future arts patrons who will support our museums, theaters and concert halls.
The gala was a magical night and Laura and Patrick were truly touched by the recognition. To learn more about the organization, visit www.artsacademics.org.
